PlaneTechs Announces Winners of Aviation Mechanic Survey

Oak Brook, IL (August 12, 2011) – PlaneTechs today announced the two winners from their aviation mechanic survey. In July, PlaneTechs conducted in-depth research with a large number of mechanics from their database, including past employees and hundreds who have worked in the industry but never for PlaneTechs. Recipients were put into a random drawing and two lucky winners were chosen to receive $500 in airfare to the airline of their choice.

Darren R., a former PlaneTechs employee of Midwest City, OK, was the first winner contacted. He hopes to make a trip to Hawaii soon with his reward and said PlaneTechs was “the best contract company I’ve ever worked for. Their recruiters are very personable.” Now a full-time nursing student, Darren is looking forward to using his gift certificate for some much needed R & R.

Leon T. of San Antonio, TX was the second winner. He’s never worked for PlaneTechs, but said, “For five minutes of my time to provide input on aviation jobs, this was a great reward!”

PlaneTechs reached out to several thousand mechanics in the aviation industry and received more than 1,200 responses to their survey. The research will be used by the company to help understand what mechanics need and care about most in their search for great jobs.
