Oak Brook, IL (July 24, 2009) – David Pearson has been named president of PlaneTechs, the leading staffing provider of aircraft maintenance professionals for the aviation MRO and manufacturing industry. Pearson fills the role left open when the company’s former president left the company in mid-2008. In this new role, Pearson will lead the company’s relationships with new and existing clients and oversee PlaneTechs’ growth throughout the United States and around the world.
Pearson’s promotion was announced today by Steve Cooper, CEO of TrueBlue, Inc., PlaneTechs’ parent company. “David’s deep understanding of sales, combined with his leadership skills, has helped PlaneTechs develop and sustain relationships with long-term customers, build new and profitable accounts, and generate record sales and NOI growth despite the down economy.”
Previously, Pearson was senior vice president of sales at PlaneTechs. Before that he worked as vice president of sales for sister company CLP Resources, Inc., a national construction staffing company headquartered in Reno, Nevada. In his tenure with CLP, Pearson was instrumental in propelling the company’s sales culture and leading the acquisition and penetration of larger accounts and projects.
Pearson’s experience also includes 10 years in senior management positions with Miller-Heiman Inc., a leading sales performance company. His responsibilities there included sales and sales management, client services, global distribution, and field sales operations and facilitation. Key accomplishments included development of growth markets throughout Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and North America.
Pearson is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, a published author, and certified facilitator of a number of Miller Heiman sales programs. He resides in Chicago.
