PlaneTechs Wins Two VOICE Awards from the ASA

Oak Brook, IL (September 9, 2011) - TrueBlue’s Marketing Department won eight awards in the American Staffing Association’s (ASA) recent VOICE Awards competition – the most of any single staffing company.  PlaneTechs took home two awards and sister company Labor Ready won six.

“As we’re building TrueBlue, we’re looking for excellence from all team members, whether they’re selling or servicing the customer or, in this case, marketing the company,” said Ed Nubel, senior vice president of sales and marketing for TrueBlue. “These awards are an indication of the talent and professionalism that runs throughout TrueBlue.”

The ASA Staffing VOICE Awards competition recognizes the voice, originality, innovation, creativity, and effectiveness—or VOICE—of ASA member communications campaigns. A panel of communications experts judges the entries in two award classes, for independent and national staffing firms, on general appeal and overall quality, content and message, originality of approach, target audience, and objectives.

Plane Techs won the following awards:

  • Multimedia – Merit: Welcome Video
  • Specialty Advertising – Merit: Electronic Birthday Card

“Over the past year, PlaneTechs has been working to connect with our contract mechanics in new ways. Our welcome video and e-birthday cards were two big projects that helped us with this effort. These awards are further confirmation of the importance of finding new and innovative ways to stay in touch with our contractors while they are working on site with our clients,” said David Pearson, PlaneTechs’ president.
