Sheet Metal Jobs
Aviation Sheet Metal Workers perform structural modification and skin assembly on both commercial and private aircraft. Sheet metal engineers and technicians execute a full range of interior and exterior metal applications including layout, drilling, riveting, shaping, and bending. Some Sheet Metal jobs may also require the fabrication of sheet metal components.
Sheet Metal job applicants must have prior training and experience in heavy sheet metal and a working knowledge of standard industry tools. The ability to read blueprints, schematics, and other engineering documents is also a requirement for Sheet Metal applicants.
